Jama Pryor brings more than 25 years of healthcare branding, marketing and communications experience to FireStarter. She works with clients to clarify brand strategy, strengthen digital presence and drive sustainable growth. Since 2022, she has led brand architecture, website strategy and integrated campaigns for multi-specialty physician practices and service lines — partnering closely with executive and physician leaders to deliver measurable results.
Prior to FireStarter, Jama held communications and marketing leadership roles at Indiana University Health. She led strategy for major service lines, including transplant and orthopedics, and launched Advances in Transplantation, a nationally distributed podcast developed in collaboration with ReachMD to elevate clinical expertise and expand brand visibility.
At the IU Health Foundation, Jama guided enterprise campaign messaging and storytelling for initiatives including the All the Difference campaign and the award-winning microsite Race to Recovery, chronicling IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe’s recovery from a near-fatal accident. The work garnered national attention and strengthened philanthropic engagement.
