Carmel, Ind. – FireStarter, LLC, a Carmel-based marketing firm helping organizations better fulfill their missions, is once again expanding its team with the addition of Paulette Hamby as business development specialist. In this role, Hamby will connect with OPOs and transplant centers across the country and introduce them to solutions offered by Firestarter’s clients focused on transportation and logistics of organ donation and transplantation.
“I enjoy talking to people who are coordinating all aspects of the transplant process, including arranging transportation, and finding out what we can do to make that process easier and more efficient,” said Hamby. “My goal as business development specialist is to introduce the right people to each other and develop new partnerships.”
Before joining FireStarter, Paulette helped A Place to Float, an Indianapolis float center, navigate the COVID-19 pandemic as sales director and general manager. Prior to that, she ran a sales consulting service and served as an account executive with True Bliss Marketing, where she represented 30 home décor brands, and several footwear manufacturers, including Wolverine Worldwide, Vida Shoes and Stride Rite. Hamby earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University – Bloomington.
